LOLA Light, GONZALEZ HAASE AAS, 2023
Polished aluminium and mouth-blown glass
23,2 x 22,7 x 23,2 (WxDxH) cm

The Lola series is a lighting object, handcrafted in Berlin from high-quality materials such as polished aluminum and mouth-blown glass. With a glass body available in clear transparent, smokey grey, pink, or red these versatile objects are available as both wall and standalone tabletop lamps.
Crafting triangular or geometric shapes in mouth-blown glass is uncommon, as the material naturally tends toward rounded forms. To achieve LOLA’s distinctive design, a custom mold was developed.
Each LOLA lamp is equipped with a custom-made LED system featuring smooth dimming capabilities. These versatile objects can be used individually as wall or tabletop lamps, or combined to create illuminated patterns.
The LOLA FLOOR LAMP is equipped with our self-developed LED system, which makes it seamlessly dimmable via touch control through the surface of the aluminium. LOLA can be also controlled separately via smart systems.
"The LOLA light embodies an exploration of scale and materials. In our design process, we shape spaces where light takes on a pivotal role, much like a sculptor approaches their work. We treat light as an architectural element that defines the essence of a space."

“Dry garden & wet movables” focuses on some contradictions of urban living, exploring the evolving role of architecture in contemporary society. Every element of the installation reacts to its surrounding, urging visitors to engage. This interaction continually shapes the scenery of light blue paper confetti, wrapped around high rise aluminium towers like urban canyons. With reaction as a central element, the design emerges from purely aesthetic to performative, offering critical commentary on current social conditions. The aluminium towers are inhabited by plants which are sprouting from the different shaped windows. The juxtaposition of these norm-core plants, commonly found in everyday households, like different inhabitants, reveals a new vision, turning the mundane into something poetic.
All objects, up to the benches that extend in modular sequences, are originating from the same industrial semi-finished product – a 150 x 150 mm aluminium square tube. Small interventions elevate the objects to collectible quality: finishes like high polished, sand blasted, hand marked or covered with natural leather and high polished stainless steel additions. Specially manufactured red Lola lights and 400 kg of recycled paper confetti, kept in motion by large fans, are creating the sound- and landscape of the installation.

FRANK OEHRING
For decades, Frank Oehring has contributed to Berlin’s design culture with his visionary light sculptures, including his most iconic work at the ICC Berlin. Now, with the ICC officially protected and recognised as a cultural landmark, his work gains new appreciation.
At La Línea Sueña, this work is presented in an international context for the very first time, offering a rare insight into his exploration of light, form, and architecture. The exhibition features sculptures, models, drawings, and video – a comprehensive showcase of his decades-long practice.

The rhythmic neon white guide tracks were a design variant that later evolved into a binary system of blue and red neon guiding tracks, leading visitors through the International Congress Center (ICC) Berlin.
The image Frank Oehring had in mind was a nervous system for the ICC building. The design of the Leitspur was influenced by technical and functional requirements, resulting in a formal language based on fundamental geometric shapes such as the circle, square, rectangle, and triangle.

Polyurethane foam, UV resistant urethane, Mixed media
33 x 25 x 35 cm [L x W x H]
The latest practice unveils functional pieces made from discarded polyurethane foam panels, often inexpensive and disposable. These panels, symbolizing softness, are transformed to defy conventional perceptions of fragility and utility. Despite their lack of UV resistance, making them an unconventional choice for exposure, they exude unexpected resilience beyond their facade. The underlying concept, conceived with a childish approach, delves into the intricate interplay between materiality and function, inviting viewers to contemplate the profound implications of repurposing common materials.

Struktur Leather Handrail:One of four everyday objects fully reimagined in leather as part of the Struktur Ecco MS-B Derby release. The concept was to reinterpret the appearance of the shoe in various physical forms by covering ready-made objects in leather and applying 'Struktur' to the base, as with the shoes.
Size 43
The specially treated surface, titled ,Struktur' -German for ‚structure' —was discovered by Illya Goldman Gubin by chance during an experiment in 2019. He initially developed it for his art practice, applying it to both wall pieces and sculptures. Each surface is applied individually by hand-a time-consuming process that results in a unique and singular structure. `Struktur' is expected to develop and change over time.

Peanut NUT: 3,3 x 2,5 x 2,5 cm
Almond NUT: 3,3 x 2,9 x 2,5 cm
Made of chrome plated steel, NUT is a poetic play on the nut and bolt. An often overlooked joint/connector, NUT highlights the simplicity and multi-function of the common nut and bolt. Not only does it fasten and hold materials and components in place, NUT also acts as a form of tactile ornamentation that forces the user to think about the origin of the connection and the nature of modular assembly. Originally designed so that it could insert itself in existing forms of assembly, NUT is meant to be used as a connector for offcuts, waste materials and modular systems. NUT was influenced by the DIY-like characetristics that Berlin’s art and design scenes foster.
Terrace FRZNTE (Franziska)
FRZNTE is a DJ, Pole Performer and Cultural Producer. In her pole performances, she combines performative, choreographic, and sculptural elements, often referring to the architectural context. Her body wrapping and moving around the pole becomes a kinetic sculpture and gesture of empowerment.
By bringing the pole into open, urban environments—particularly rooftops and other architectural structures— FRZNTE invites critical conversations about gender, visibility, and ownership of space. FRZNTE collaborated with Transmoderna, a digital art and electronic music collective co-founded by DJ Dixon. She has also performed with Peaches at Deutsche Oper, Berlin, collaborated with UCC Harlo at Montez Press Radio in New York, and performed her “Spinning Rooftops” series on various rooftops in Berlin and Reykjavik. The architecture magazine ARCH+ put her on the front page for their Berlin Praxis issue published in 2021.She is occasionally on tour with the Icelandic artist and musician Apex Anima. They create a highly energetic audio-visual live show in which they fuse ethereal with physical, platonic with erotic and static with acrobatic moments. As a DJ her mix of Hip Hop, Disco, Techno, Booty Beats and the most beautiful All Time Favourites transform art shows, film events and nightclubs into an extravaganza of wild parties. Her music is both trash and glam. Sometimes, she brings her pole to the party and stirs up a mirage of smoke with her slowly spinning high heels for her hypnotic Pole DJ Set.

Matylda Krzykowski
Matylda Krzykowski directs, designs, writes, and talks about objects within space and ideas outside of space. Her transdisciplinary, geographically mobile practice resonates worldwide in the forms of exhibitions, installations, talks, texts, performances and exhibits. In her role as artistic lead of CIVIC at Basel Academy of Art & Design Matylda Krzykowski provides an educational and experimental environment with opportunities for participation, contribution, and exchange to promote an understanding of the relevance of art and design today.
The hand is the body part most frequently used as a symbol. It is the main human tool with an ability to transfer invisible energy into form. Matylda Krzykowski designed a hand that is active and frivolous, its long fingers can be interpreted as extending into established ideas, crushing them, and reforming them into something new. The index finger latches on to unformed leaky ideas, flirting with unresolved beliefs and notions.

Tubular steel display system.
Flow is a tubular steel display system designed to seamlessly fit into diverse spaces—owing to its simple and modular nature. The structure blurs the line between design and art, and can double as a blank canvas for creatives. It’s a sleek and functional addition that fills the gap between creative industries: effortlessly assembled without tools, disassembled in minutes, and conveniently flat-packed for transport. Consisting of three modules, numerous configurations can be created: A simple hanging rack, a corner, a circular or linear arrangement, or a labyrinthic sequence.Flow investigates a new Bauhaus product from today’s perspective since the cult designs have been predominantly chairs, lamps, or tables. Designed by two master’s graduates of the Bauhaus University Weimar, in a similar position to, for example, the Wilhelm Wagenfeld (Wagenfeld Lamp), the system questions: What makes a product iconic? Can we still design a classic?

TEUBER KOHLHOFF is a textile and interior design studio founded by Anna Teuber and Franzi Kohlhoff 2015 in Berlin. The studio’s commissions range from print and pattern design to woven or knitted interior products and spatial installations.
With a keen interest in establishing a lively dialogue between archetype and experimentation, the studio creates strong narratives and standout projects. Aiming for individual solutions and the utmost standards, the studio works in close collaboration with high-quality weaving and knitting mills, and a trusted network of manufactories and architects in Germany and across Europe.
The installation piece NO GRAVITY merges elegance with rebellion. Its reflective silver surface symbolizes fluidity, while bold graffiti patterns disrupt it with raw and dynamic energy. This contrast challenges ideas of identity, authority, and resistance, making the piece both striking and thought-provoking. It plays with the illusion of weightlessness, as if floating between order and chaos. The interplay of light and texture further enhances its sense of movement, making it feel both ethereal and grounded.
